About Running (re-post from 125)

8 Jul

I really like this because it’s so true.  That, and it’s proven you make a habit with 26 days in a row of repetition.

I ran a total of 131 km (82 miles) and went head first into Berlin Marathon training. There is no secret to it, you just do it. You deicded to run AND THEN YOU DO IT. What’s the worst thing that could happen on a run? You walk? You have to sit down? You stop? Been there. Done that.  I once sat on a park bench for 1/2 an hour on a 6k run, then walked home. I also once took a cab home on a run. Big deal.  But then I still went again. And again. And again. That’s the secret. Keep going, no matter how shitty the last run was, and the magic thing about humans, is it will (I promise) get easier, and easier, and easier.
